I am a former graduate of Josephinum in the 90’s and now currently a staff member. No school is perfect, but every school has the potential for greatness. And this school is definitely one of them. Josephinum has been around for 132 years for a reason. We have been educating young women with a voice who is passionate and cares about our culture, our society and their future. I always attribute my passion and success over the years to my foundation forming days at Josephinum. The love I have for service and education came from the attention and education I received from the Jo’. If you want your daughter to have a excellent experience and affordable education definitely contact Josephinum.

The Josephinum is a perfect fit for our child! She is known and loved at this school. We wanted a school where she could blossom and grow and this is what has happened. It has been great to see her learn, grow in faith, make friends, and become more aware of the issues in the world. She is a quiet, introverted child and is now on Student Council, on sports teams, and a member of clubs with her friends. For us, the Josephinum Academy of the Sacred Heart is a hidden gem in Chicago, that is on the upswing!

This school is quick to call you about money you owe but fail to communicate with their students. The Dean is very judgemental and sexist. Instead of talking to me he called my husband why because I'm a women. The incident that happened should have been addressed properly it was brush under the rug. I wouldn't refer this school to my worse enemy to this school. My daughter is currently getting an A in advanced algebra with trig she's doing so much better than she did in this school. All in all no one should have to pay for poor education.

I am a parent and Some of you may think this school is diverted, but no. They treat black people (mainly Africans) different than Mexican/Hispanics in that school. I lost all respect for that school. The principal is very much racist and I hope she knows. Please treat your students like one. If your an African American please do not come to this school only if you want living hell.

I cant believe this school is still allowed to operate.
This is the worst Private H.S. in the entire city of Chicago!
A lot of wasted money and time went into this school.
The staff lacks leadership for the young girls.
The staff is afraid to make any disciplinary action for girls.
The girls fight , swear, and act plain foolish inside the school, and around the school, so much so the Catholic Church right across the street St. Aloysius Catholic Church, forbids the school to use for any event other than graduation, due to the ignorance from the Josephinum Academy students.
This is a sad excuse for private school.
They are not fully honest with you upon registration, this school is not affiliated under the Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago.
They are private sector under a umbrella of the Archdiocese, its a wonder how this school is running?
Someone needs to look into this school and shut it down!!!!
Or find a intuition that is committed to look over the academics for these young girls!!!!
I'm in complete shock this school is still running, what a joke!!!!

I love this school so much I recommend it to any girl here you are a free spirit no like in others school where you are forced to hard work. Here is all preparing us for college but they make it understandable for all girls. I am so happy to be accepted here but I came with a problem and I even had straight F's on my transcript and still accepted me. I know a lot of girls are not religious but I am a Roman Catholic and even if you don't love God much please just try to have him in your hearts. With God everything is possible and he leaded me to this beautiful, girls without limits, and intellgent girl school and I finally found my happy place. If you are in the school like me NEVER LEAVE THIS PLACE IT IS HEAVEN I TELL YA!!!!?

The dean likes to expel people. He has suspended 4 people so far this school year. I do not recommend coming here this school is very dirty and boring. The teachers are rude and they don’t know how to teach.
